FAQ

Questions buyers ask before the first container

What is your typical lead time?+

25–35 days for distribution transformers, 45–70 days for power transformers above 10MVA, depending on specification and test schedule.

Which HS codes apply to transformers?+

8504.21 (≤650kVA), 8504.22 (650kVA–10MVA) and 8504.23 (>10MVA) under HS chapter 85. We provide full customs documentation.

Can we witness the routine tests?+

Yes — your inspector or a third party (SGS, BV, TÜV, Intertek) can witness the complete IEC routine test sequence at our 220kV test bay.

How are transformers protected during ocean freight?+

Units ship oil-filled (sealed) or nitrogen-capped, bolted to steel skids in fumigation-free wooden cases with shock and tilt recorders. Desiccant breathers and VCI protection included.

What warranty do you offer overseas?+

24 months from commissioning or 30 months from delivery, whichever comes first, with spare parts dispatched within 7 days by air.

Do you provide installation supervision?+

Yes. Commissioning engineers are available worldwide; travel and daily rates are quoted with your order.
